If you haven’t read the previous post yet, I recommend starting with: Dreamers and Seekers – Part 1, where you can learn about the foundations of the project and the first steps.
The structure and logic of the book have been designed to serve as a guide for those who wish to apply insights from these stories to their own lives.
The questions I asked the interviewees are intended to help readers draw parallels with their own experiences and thoughts. I formulated them as if the readers themselves were sitting down with these individuals, getting to know their stories, the paths that led them to their dreams, or the challenges they faced along the way.
The questionnaire served as a unifying foundation for the project because I believe that while dreams and paths may differ, the fundamental questions remain the same. At the same time, I had to consider that people are at different stages in realizing their dreams. That’s why I worked with the same set of questions, but it is the unique depth and interpretation of the answers that paint the diverse picture presented in the book.
It is important to highlight that the questions were handled flexibly. Not every interviewee answered all the questions, and some responses led to such profound insights that they were explored in greater depth on their own. We aimed to create a continuous flow between the interviews and adapt them to each individual story, as it is their uniqueness that brings diversity and authenticity to the book.
The workbook is an integral part of the book, designed to encourage readers to reflect on their own lives. Its goal is to help them move beyond being passive recipients of the stories and become active participants in writing their own. The questions answered by the interviewees can also serve as valuable self-reflection tools or sources of inspiration for readers on their own journey of self-discovery.
This is why it was so important for the book not only to share these life journeys but also to engage the reader in the process of dreaming and seeking their own path. It offers recommendations for inspiring, "healing" resources—just like a friend sharing their personal experiences with you. Personally, I always pay attention to such things, and most of the time, I can’t wait to try them out myself. :)
When I started this project, I had a clear vision:
If I ask the same questions to ten, twenty, or thirty people, I will not only find common threads and parallels, but also intriguing contrasts that reveal new insights.
The patterns that emerge from their answers are incredibly revealing. Despite the vast differences in our lives, certain fundamental emotions and thoughts keep reappearing—reminding us of the shared experiences that connect us all.
One of the most striking things is that:
Almost everywhere, a lack of self-confidence and fear emerge,
but at the same time, so does the power of collaboration, the inspiration from others, and the motivation that arises from it.
These universal emotions and experiences are what make these stories relatable and valuable for readers.
The purpose of the workbook is to encourage readers to take an active role in writing their own stories. Klára Kovács —whom I personally owe so much—has played a key role in shaping the exercises as a relationship and family therapist and self-awareness expert. Her guidance ensures that each task is truly personalized and effective, making the journey of self-reflection both meaningful and transformative.
The key message of the book is that no matter where we come from, what language we speak, or what background we have, deep down, we all seek answers to the same fundamental questions in life.
Though we come from different paths, we are all searching for the same direction. Through empathy, understanding, and unity, we have the power to grow stronger and create real change.
This is why I believe that these stories are not only valuable for dreamers and seekers but for anyone who believes that human connections and learning from one another help us move forward—provided we approach them with an open heart and mind.
